Add a Todo List in Mozilla Firefox

If you want to get your tasks organized and you want your handy-dandy Firefox to cooperate with your goals, here are two ways to integrate a todo list to your favorite browser:

A. Feature-rich Todo Application

Toodledo is a service that lets you create and manage your todo list. It is a feature-rich web-based application (no need to install fancy software) with all the things you'll ever need with a todo list. You can organize your tasks with Folders, add descriptions to any task, and even share them to others (your boss perhaps?). Good thing you can integrate this service on Firefox as an add-on.

  1. Make a Toodledo account here.

  2. Install the Toodledo Firefox addon here.

  3. Restart Firefox.

  4. On the menu bar, click Tools > Toodledo > Settings...

  5. Insert your username and password, then click Ok.

  6. Click this icon toodledo sidebar to toggle the Toodledo sidebar.

  7. Click the green check icon beside it to add a new task.

B. Quick and Simple Todo List

If you need a very simple todo list, much like a mini-list of tasks, then the Quick Todo List add-on is the one for you. The site describes:
This extension is a simple and quick to-do list show in the statusbar of Firefox. You can easily add things to do in the list. The to-do list is stored in a bookmark folder. Each Entry is a bookmark. So you can easily synchronize your to-do list between your various firefox instances via bookmark synchronization tools such as Foxmarks or Weave.

Although it is an experimental add-on, it is safe enough to install and will be enough to do the job you require. You can get it here.
